Remember playing “Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego” as a kid? Well now the new game Brewster Jennings Protects America brings this classic adventure into the 21st century by merging the game play with Google maps technology. In the web-based Brewster Jennings Protects America game you race around the globe as a government agent trying to stop a deadly terror attack from taking place. It’s pretty cool as it allows you to use Google Maps as well as the search engine to find clues.

Now that we have found a way to determine the color of King Tut’s wine all of the worlds problems should soon go away. It’s good to know science is working on all of the major issues like world hunger and cancer huh?

You have probably seen ads with a Kangaroo on a yellow background but didn’t know what they were for right? Well it was apparently a marketing ramp up for the new site Postaroo.com. It’s a new, free, local community bulletin board. They have many major cities listed already and I am sure more will be added. Here is the real kicker. There is no membership or login required to search or post on the site. That is refreshing indeed. Let’s see how well that actually works out though right? Check it out.

This was emailed to me and I thought it made a good point:

AS THE DEADLINE for a major project drew near at our publishing firm, both our facsimile machines were put to the test. Secretaries were sending and receiving messages, making last-minute corrections and additions. One young assistant, holding a handful of new instructions to be distributed to various departments, asked the office manager, “Whatever did we do before fax machines?”

A man of few words, the manager replied, “We did things on time.”
