Ever hear of it? Don’t worry I hadn’t either but it can blow the doors (you know what I mean) off of a Honda CBR600RR. This is a car you have to see in action to believe. The really amazing thing is the low price of $29K pounds. I have to get one of those for my morning commute.
The history of the RIM lawsuit
There is a very good chance you have at least heard of the legal battle betweeen RIM (makers of the Blackberry) and NTP. It is a battle that has had many ups and downs over five long years. What you may not know is the whole story from the beginning. I must say I was completely for RIM in this case but now after reading the whole history of the case I can see the merits of both sides. I just hope a mutual agreement can happen soon.
Do you remember the Challenger disaster? Accurately???
This article discusses 7 myths about the Challenger shuttle disaster, which happened 20 years ago. An interesting read…
I have to say what is happening to RIM lately just seems like a great shame. If you haven’t seen it already you can read the latest here. What is really sad is the US patent office is now thinking that NTPs patents may be invalid. I think it’s fair to say that a great deal of damage has already been done. I really hope they can survive this and move on.
AS THE DEADLINE for a major project drew near at our publishing firm, both our facsimile machines were put to the test. Secretaries were sending and receiving messages, making last-minute corrections and additions. One young assistant, holding a handful of new instructions to be distributed to various departments, asked the office manager, “Whatever did we do before fax machines?”
A man of few words, the manager replied, “We did things on time.”

Do you love the original StarTrek?
If so I have great news for you. It seems a group of original episode trekkers have continued the 5 year mission that Kirk set out on. They have done a great job of getting the set and uniforms to be accurate to the original. I will say that the special effects are more of a current level but it works nicely. You can check out the site with information here and download an episode.
