This has got to be one of the coolest ads ever. It’s basically a Rube Goldberg type setup made from car parts. It’s fun to watch but must have been a true test of patience to create. It took 606 takes to get it right.

I found this site today and must say I can see myself using this many times in the not too distant future. It is an online machine shop. You download software from their site, design your part, and then upload the design. They will then manufacture the part using several options for the process to be used. You can even have multiples of the part made and get a nice discount on the multiple unit order.

eMachineShop is the remarkable new way to get the custom parts you need - the first true online machine shop.

This site is a nice and easy tool to encode and decode 8-bit ASCII text to binary. It also will do Hex and Octal conversions. Why would you want to do this? That’s up to you. It’s kind of like a high tech secret decoder ring. Not tough to crack but cool to do. Who knows, it may come in handy some day eh?
