That’s right thanks to Lenovo (formerly IBM) notebook hard drive shock sensing technology hitting your computer is actually a function now. Some enterprising hackers and insiders at IBM have come up with a way to use the shock technology to issue system commands. Want to open FireFox? Well just bang the keyboard twice.

Apparently Microsoft just loves to do product demos. The only problem with that is they demo how it “actually works”. You can check out this video from a recent demonstration of the upcoming Windows Vista speech interface. It works about as well as I expected it to. :-)

“Shawn Hogan, CEO of Digital Point Solutions, has found himself on the receiving end of an MPAA lawsuit claiming he downloaded a copy of ‘Meet the Fockers’ on Bittorrent. Mr. Hogan both denies the charges as well as claims he already owns the movie on DVD. After being asked to pay a $2500 extortion fee, Mr. Hogan lawyered up and has vowed to challenge and help change the MPAA’s tactics. ‘They’re completely abusing the system,’ Hogan says. Although expecting to pay well over $100,000 to defend himself, he claims ‘I would spend well into the millions on this.’”

A buddy and I went for a motorcycle ride to see the flight 93 memorial today. I must say it is something you should go and see as well as pay your respects to those that lost their lives. It will most certainly refocus your support on the war on terror in this world.

That’s right, now you too can virtualize your single server into multiple operating systems. You can run many different systems on the same server. How cool is that? I have used the product and it works quite well. I imagine the fact that it is free would be to compete with Microsoft’s free product Virtual Server. VMware is a much better product and I think runs much smoother. Download it today and run all of the operating systems you have always wanted to play with but have never had enough servers at home to do it with. Act fast operators are standing by…..
